Approaching the Hill
Approaching the Hill is a social group for those ages 20 to 44. This small but lively group meets several times a year for food, drink and fellowship. Members can join our Approaching the Hill @ Zion UCC Facebook group to stay on top of coming events and in contact with one another.
Top-of-the-Hill is a wonderful group for those not over-the-hill but not approaching the hill either. The age range is 45 to 65, but you won't be carded at the door! Top-of-the Hill has a well-attended social event several times each year. Past events have included a picnic at Jane and Don's, a '60s party and dinner and music at the All-Star Diner. Stay in touch with fellow group members and up-to-date with activities using our Top-of-the-Hill Facebook group. Click here.
The Over-the-Hill Gang
The only age requirement for this popular fellowship is to act young! Over-the-Hillers enjoy a variety of monthly activities, from theater to history to fine dining. The group had a "Thanks for the Memories" holiday party (guest appearance: Bob Hope) at Pastor's Jane's house in 2010. Members of this group may keep in touch and up-to-date on our Facebook group.
The Silver Seniors
The Silver Seniors are an energetic group of Zion's most revered and long-term members. They come from nursing homes, assisted living centers and their own residences to "party" twice a year. All parties are held at Pastor Jane's house and have included "The Annual Lawrence Welk Christmas Party" (Lawrence on the big screen) and "The 4th of July Garden Party" featuring Janice on the keyboard and lots of red, white, and blue.
Stay up-to-date on group activities on our Facebook group, which is intended for Silver Seniors members or their caregivers. Click here.
